Summer Success!

Good afternoon all,

I’m very happy to report Challenger won all three races last Sunday! If you can, come on out and support the team this Sunday. If you are available to help out on the Start Boat, please let me know. There will be a fabulous lunch at the Club, as well as ice-cream sundaes at 4.

Congratulations are also in order to Matthew Carvelho and Monique Troja, who got engaged in Italy recently.

I have some thank-yous, as well:

For all your hard work and organization with the Spring Regatta- Lee Timothy, Owen Siese, Megan Kempe and Craig Davis, as well as to the people who helped with food.

For the kind donation of lights for the Club for special occasions- Drew and Koren Henderson.

I would also like to thank all of you, our Members. During the successful Queen’s Birthday Dinner, you bought raffle tickets and otherwise supported the event. The proceeds of the raffle ($1,195) will go directly to the Challenger fund. What do you, our Members, think we should put the rest of the proceeds towards? Please let me know if you have any ideas. In addition, we were able to donate $250 to the Seagull Fund as a result of the successful Round the Islands Race this year.
